Do you like FPS?

Do you want a game that is FUN and makes you laugh?

Now when it comes to FPS, I have a few things that I love and hate about the style. One thing I hate, BIG MAPS. I don’t see any point in playing a MPFPS (Multiplayer First Person Shooters) when you have to run around for 5 minutes to find someone. A MPFPS should be straight into the action. Respawn, run for about 10 seconds, start killing! This is BFH!

BFH hit the mark with their maps. Small enough to get plenty of action and also big enough to hide if you need to. They also did well with the onilne ranking system they have set up. The more you play (and win) the better you make your character (you can make up to three characters to begin with).

They also seemed to have sniped the whole “Pirated Download” market. They have done this by creating Serials 1 by 1 and issuing them to specific email addresses that sign up for the “Beta Program”.

Are you using Windows 7? Did you know about all the new keyboard shortcuts? Feel free to take a look at the following Windows 7 Keyboard shorcuts that I have found from around the web. These keyboard shorcuts are quite handy once you learn them. Makes window switching easier.

General Shortcuts:
Win+(Up) – Maximize
Win+(Down) – Restore / Minimize
Win+(Left) – Snap to left
Win+(Right) – Snap to right
Win+(Shift+Left) – Jump to left monitor
Win+(Shift+Right) – Jump to right monitor
Win+(Home) – Minimize / Restore all other windows
Win+(T) – Focus the first taskbar entry – Pressing again will cycle through them, you can can arrow around.
Win+(Shift+T) – Cycles the above but in reverse.
Win+(Space) – Peek at the desktop (you cannot click on anything)
Win+(G) – Bring gadgets to the top of the Z-order
Win+(P) – External display options (mirror, extend desktop, etc)
Win+(X) – Mobility Center (same as Vista, but still handy!)
Win+(#) (# = being a number key) – Launches a new instance of the application in the #th slot on the taskbar.
(Example: Win+1 launches first pinned app, Win+2 launches second, etc.)

Zooming:
Win+(+) – Zoom In (Magnifier)
Win+(-) – Zoom Out (Magnifier)

Windows Explorer:
Alt+P – Show/hide Preview Pane

Taskbar Modifiers:
Shift + Click on icon – Open a new instance
Middle click on icon – Open a new instance
Ctrl + Shift + Click on icon – Open a new instance with Admin privileges
Shift + Right click on icon – Show window menu (Restore / Minimize / Move / etc)
Note: Normally you can just right-click on the window thumbnail to get this menu
Shift + Right click on grouped icon – Menu with Restore All / Minimize All / Close All, etc.
Ctrl + Click on grouped icon – Cycle between the windows (or tabs) in the group

Do you use Vista? Did you like XP better?

Do you use XP but would “Never Switch” to Vista?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you (I’m guessing for a VERY LIMITED TIME)

(RC1)

I installed this onto my PC yesterday and I must say, this version of Windows (windows 7), I would actually pay for a copy of this! This is what windows 95 was to 3.1 what 98 was to 95.. What XP should have been to 98! It’s a giant step forward.

In the day I have used Windows 7 RC1, I have found myself in a situation that i didn’t find myslef in with Vista.. Windows 7 loads EVERYTHING. Well almost everything.. I had to right click and “Run as Administrator” two or three programs for them to install.. But thats it! I’m loving it.

Since yesterday, 4 more of my mates have signed up and recieved their Key’s for Windows RC1, installed, configured and are now wrapped they have an Operating system that works correctly…. And it’s only the RC1 o.O. Plus it connected straight to the local network that contains two PC’s with XP.. The only setting that was to be changed was the “Workgroup” name! I had to change so much with Vista!

I also signed up for the “Feedback” as I think the more information they gather, the better the Gold release will be! For now though I’m happy with RC1.

Okay.. So bear with me on this one… (read first comment for explaination)

I’m no scientist so I can’t explain exactly what it was, however I did get the phone out and took some shots before the phone battery died. From what I could see, the cloud texture represented that in the same as a “Sand Dune” that has had the wind blown over it to create “Natural Waves” (like the WindowsXP Background. Or “Beach Sand” that has had a gentle stream of water flowing over it…

Anyway on to my snaps! Please keep in mind that I took these shots through the front windscreen of the truck with my phone… Please note.. The truck had nothing to do with the “Colour” in the sky. I would have taken a shot out of my side window but again as I said before, my phone died.

It could quite simply be the same “Spectrum” reaction that causes rainbows. But as you can see in the second shot, the colour is above the sun (the first shot the colour is close to the sun).
