Okay so if you haven’t heard about it. I was made By Australian brothers Michael and Peter Spierig. It features Sam Neil, Caludia Karvan, Isabel Lucas and also has appearances by Jay Laga’aia. The film also stars Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe.

Anyway the latest news from Australian shores is that Daybreakers will now be released in Australia on February 1st 2010 at a premier in Sydney. This will also be followed up at some point by a Sydney Popcorn Taxi Q&A on Wednesday the 3rd of February 2010

Well just now on Chan 10 Julie took out the very first Masterchef (2009). A show on telvision here in Australia

She battled it out with Poh in the pressure cooker in the last round to win by 6 votes.

The last episode consisted of a Taste Test, an Invention challenge (using a whole chicken) and one final Pressure Cooker. Julie only needed 3 votes when it came to Gary’s decision, she recieved a 9 off him. She also received a 9 from George, Matt and Curtis. So all in all a valient effort. She was suprised by her family and EVERYONE burst into tears when she saw her husband and kids were re-united.

“I don’t have words to describe it.” Said her husband when asked how he felt moments after meeting his wife after the series.

Poh’s mum and dad were “Very Proud”

“You’ve changed me” Gary said, holding back tears.

Well done Julie on becoming Australia’s first ever MasterChef

Today is a very sad day in Australian Entertainment history. This morning Charles “Bud” Tingwell passed away at the age of 86 from Prostate Cancer.

Charles Bud Tingwell was not just a man but a machine when it came to Australian film and Television with countless voice overs and many on screen acting rolls. One of these voice overs was for one of my mates, Tobi, movies – Benjamin Banjo Frog:

Charles “Bud” Tingwell will never be forgotten and my condolances are sent out to his family and loved ones. I thank his spirit for what he gave this country in the form of entertainment. I don’t believe any person on this planet could say a word wrong about Bud.

You will be sadly missed.
