Do you use Vista? Did you like XP better?
Do you use XP but would “Never Switch” to Vista?
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you (I’m guessing for a VERY LIMITED TIME)
(RC1)
I installed this onto my PC yesterday and I must say, this version of Windows (windows 7), I would actually pay for a copy of this! This is what windows 95 was to 3.1 what 98 was to 95.. What XP should have been to 98! It’s a giant step forward.
In the day I have used Windows 7 RC1, I have found myself in a situation that i didn’t find myslef in with Vista.. Windows 7 loads EVERYTHING. Well almost everything.. I had to right click and “Run as Administrator” two or three programs for them to install.. But thats it! I’m loving it.
Since yesterday, 4 more of my mates have signed up and recieved their Key’s for Windows RC1, installed, configured and are now wrapped they have an Operating system that works correctly…. And it’s only the RC1 o.O. Plus it connected straight to the local network that contains two PC’s with XP.. The only setting that was to be changed was the “Workgroup” name! I had to change so much with Vista!
If you want to get your hands on this puppy, make sure you head on over to the Microsoft site and signup there ![]()

I also signed up for the “Feedback” as I think the more information they gather, the better the Gold release will be! For now though I’m happy with RC1.
Is it morraly correct to thank Microsoft?
Here is a Screenshot of my desktop with some programs installed that Vista had “Some Trouble” with. (Uploaded with FlashFXP

Cheers for the link mate. I have left a comment on your blog, which I’ll be heading back to for some more Windows 7 goodies.
Hi, good post. I have been wondering about this issue,so thanks for posting.
Thanks for the useful info. It’s so interesting
I have no idea at all mate. I got Vista with my PC. My mates have Windows7 on their PC’s. Honestly, I couldn’t tell you if their Windows was pirated or not. I wouldn’t see how it would make a difference though. Format your HDD first and just boot from the Win7 dvd you make from the Image that MS give you. It would just run as if you were installing an OS to the pc for the first time. Just make sure you have all the drivers first
I DO NOT CONDONE PIRACY. I’m only answering a question.
